International Rescue Committee - IRC Community Wellbeing Initiative Officer Salary: ETB 14,131.00/month, based on the candidate’s qualification, experience and previous earning history plus 15% of Transport allowance and 15% Pension and PF contribution Scope: Under the direct line management of the team leader and with technical support and supervision of Addis technical staff, the CWI Officer will supervise, coordinate and manage the prevention and response to physical and psychological harm against women and girls in a professional manner. She /he will demonstrate technical capability and support the CWI incentive staffs to ensure the program is holistic, upholding according to standards, procedures and principles of safety and wellbeing to women and girls. She /he will coordinate the various services available in the area. The CWI Officer will also mentor, coach and build the technical capacities of CWI incentive staffs at the field. Summary Statement of Responsibilities: CWI officer reports to the mobile service provision team leader in the field. This position manages incentive workers in different internally displaced people (IDP) sites. Detailed Responsibilities: • With the MSP team, and in collaboration with the community, identify immediate risks especially for women and young girls. • Map out services available for possible development or strengthening of referral pathways for cases, especially in the areas of Health, Psychosocial, safety and security. • Provide psychosocial first aid and referrals to survivors of physical and psychological harm • Identify & document safety and wellbeing risks and type of intervention undertaken (if any) • Support context specific dignity kits distribution. • Support strategic influencing for women and girls wellbeing and safety through appropriate acceptable ways. • Identify capacity training needs for prevention and response to physiological and physical harm against women and girls for relevant stakeholders. • Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly activity, spending, and procurement plan. Job Requirements • BA/MA Degree in social science, social work, health or psychology/sociology. • Four years/Two years of professional work experience for BA and MA subsequently. • Experience in working with harmed and at risk women and girls in NGO working system is a plus. • Experience on counseling and provision of psychosocial support for at risk and harmed women and girls is preferred. • Demonstrated experience in field staff management • Strong written and verbal language skills in English, and Amharic.
