Haramaya University, College of Law is discharging its mandate of providing community services in various parts of East and west Hararghe Zone so f Oromia Regional State and The Harari Region. As part of its endeavor for community engagement, it has designed and implemented a USAID funded project called Access to Justice and Legal Awareness (AJLA) that focuses on improving the quality and access to justice and the legal awareness of the community through legal providing free legal services to the needy members of the community and legal literacy in East and West Hararghe zones of Oromia Regional state and the Harari Regional State. Currently the College is planning to expand the provision of free legal services to additional woredas of the East and West Hararghe zones of the Oromia Regional state.
