Human Resources Assistant - (200007UE)

HR Assistant /Recruitment  



The HR Assistant duties involve a wide range of support activities inside HR department, from posting job ads on the recruitment system to following up on recruitment process and updating the system throughout the stages.


Reports to: HR Manger- Recruitment

Staff directly reporting to this post: None


Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support staff recruitment and selection process in order to ensure a timely organized and comprehensive procedure is used to hire staff.
  • Prepare and post job advertisements online via HR systems.
  • Follow up the recruitment process and making the appropriate updates on the system throughout the recruitment stages.
  • Keeps track of announcements, Screens and shortlists applications and submit to line managers.
  • Ensure that announcements are followed up, properly handled and short listing made in consultation with the hiring managers.
  • Facilitates the selection process in scheduling written test and interview in consultation with the HR Department and hiring managers, communicate with the candidates for written and interview assessments.
  • Ensure that hiring managers are periodically updated on the status of staffing requests.
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (new contracts, employment start and end date, employee bank account information etc.)
  • Document and record the recruitment process, check completeness of the newly recruited staff files and facilitate new hire on boarding (e.g.-Employment letter preparation,).  
  • Handles all temporary employment contract preparation including contract extensions up on the request of the departments, process monthly payment for the staff.
  • Responsible for all reference checking
  • Responsible to send out regret letter to unsuccessful candidates

In order to be successful you will bring/have:



  • A bachelor’s degree  in business management or human resources is helpful with two years as a recruiter ;
  • Excellent knowledge of recruiting techniques and employment policies and procedures as it pertains to recruitment to include applicable EEO and Child safeguarding regulations



  • Good networking skills are extremely essential to build a strong database of candidates
  • Detail oriented and can exercise sound judgment. 
  • Able to work independently but enjoys collaborating and working in a team environment.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills. 
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a high volume of requisitions.
  • Ability to maintain confidential Company information
  • Proven success working under minimal supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and  presentation skills
  • Strong analytical, written and verbal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a high volume recruiting environment
