Real Estate Resource Manager

Our Client, a leading company in Ethiopia, is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Real Estate Resource Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Ethiopian real estate market, property evaluation, and asset management. This high-level position requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills to make data-driven decisions for our client's real estate portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis of the Ethiopian real estate market, identifying trends and potential investment opportunities.
• Evaluate properties based on financial performance, location, and potential for growth to determine their viability for acquisition or disposition within the Ethiopian market.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Ethiopian property owners, brokers, and other industry professionals to facilitate transactions and stay informed on market developments.
• Negotiate and manage the acquisition and disposition of properties in Ethiopia, ensuring optimal financial outcomes for our client.
• Oversee the management of our client's real estate portfolio in Ethiopia, including budgeting, leasing, and property management activities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as finance and legal departments, to ensure proper documentation and compliance with Ethiopian regulations.
• Monitor and assess the performance of our client's real estate investments in Ethiopia, providing regular reports and recommendations to senior management.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in Ethiopian real estate and asset management, incorporating new insights into our client's strategies.
• Identify, acquire, and manage non-lucrative properties to increase our return on interest

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in real estate investment, asset management, or a similar role, preferably within the Ethiopian market.
• In-depth knowledge of Ethiopian real estate market analysis, property valuation, and investment strategies.
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex financial data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong sense of initiative.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite and real estate management platforms.
• Real estate license and/or relevant professional certifications within Ethiopia are preferred.
