Fayyaa Integrated Development Organization is Ethiopian resident Charity, non-profitable organization, seeks qualified professionals for Community HIV Care and Treatment project funded by USAID through Project HOPE.

1. Community Engagement Facilitator (14)
Duty station: 14 Towns (Jimma, MizanAman, Ambo, Nekemte, Tepi, Gimbi, Bonga, DenbiDollo, AbeyChomen, GidaAyana, Dendi, Agaro, Shambu and Nejo)
Job Description:

  • Engage community members in planning, implementing and reviewing
  • Identify cases that are going to be referred to community from health facility together with the health facility provider or case manager
  • Facilitate/Provide community based care and support for non-stable patients to lesson burden to health facilities and clients
  • Mentoring and supervising CRPs to get them acquainted with task below for CRPs
  • Counsel high risk family members for testing and conduct testing in the community based on clients’ preference
  • Conduct assisted partner notification and do community based testing based on clients’ preference

Education: Diploma in Clinical Nursing Training in Adherence Counseling, Couple Counseling and Community HIV counseling.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in providing HIV Testing and Counseling Services.

  • Ability to coordinate and support volunteers working in the community
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team and support others in their work.
  • Fluency in local language is mandatory

Duration of the project: One year with high possibility of extension

2. Technical Officer (2)
Duty station: Jimma Town and Nekemte Town
Job Description:

  • Plan, organize, implement and monitor CHCT Project activities
  • Provide day to day technical and mentoring support to the Community Engagement Facilitator documented and maintained at all levels.
  • Ensure Project implementation processes are well
  • Ensure all assessments carried out are conducted timely and meets requirements of the Project.
  • Liaise with local Government administration, Community Care Coalitions or Community Committees, CRPs, H/WDA, HEWs, health facilities and other community level actors

Education: Minimum of BA or Masters in Public Health, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology or related fields.
Experience: At least 5 years for BA and 2 years of Masters with relevant experience in the areas of health, HIV/AIDS Project management and technical support provision.

  • Ability to coordinate and support community engagement  facilitators and volunteers
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and support others in their work.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Oromiffa language fluency is mandatory
  1. Finance Officer (1)
    Duty station: Addis Ababa
    Job Description:
  • Assist the project team in the development of realistic plan for the required implementation period
  • Track project budget consistently and provide updates to the project team in order for them to know the status (burn rate) and develop an accelerated action plan
  • Ensure payments are done timely for all planned activities and as per the procumbent policies and procedures).
  • Implement sub-grant and sub-contract policies, guidelines provided from the central CHCT project based in Addis Ababa and regional office.
  • Ensure that advances are settled (liquidated) on timely manner (as per the financial reporting procedures and formats)
  • Ensures that financial monitoring findings and recommendations provided by the project team are addressed timely and progress is reported.

Education:-Minimum of BA Degree in Accounting & Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in areas of financial and grant management and knowledge of USAID and GoE regulations desirable.

  • The incumbent should be good at performing timely financial reviews, tracking project burn rates and other forms of financial analyses.
  • Trustworthy, reliable and well organized and able to develop and streamline systems for efficient conduct of day-to-day tasks.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and a good team player.
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets and database skills.

4. M&E Officer (1)
Duty station: Addis Ababa
Job Description:

  • Handles the design and development of mini PMP (M&E system)
  • In consultation with the project team, s/he is responsible for the development of M&E plan generated from the approved project document
  • In consultation with the Project Coordinator and other project team, organize regular assessments and review of project progress
  • In collaboration with other project team, plans and coordinates joint monitoring visits and project review sessions.
  • Make sure project data is timely entered into database properly analyze data and generate analytical summaries to be used for reporting.
  • Review and make sure that all reports to be submitted to the Government and donor are complete, consistent and accurate.
  • Facilitates compilation of regular monitoring reports prepared by different Project staff along with evaluation recommendations.

Education: Minimum of BA in Statistics, Monitoring and Evaluation or other Social Sciences and related fields.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in planning, implementation and monitoring and evaluation activities. Skills in developing ME&L plans, data collection tools and indicators development, data quality management and survey/assessment undertakings.

  • Ability to analyze M&E technical issues, to write clear and concise reports
  • Computer literacy in basic Microsoft applications, database and statistical software.
  • Ability to undertake frequent field travels to project areas on regular basis
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English.

5. Project Coordinator (1)
Job Description:

  • Provide regular support and supervision to Program Officers, CEFs, CHWs and other staff under her or his direct supervision.
  • Build the technical capacity of the project staff under her/his direct line management and delegate tasks for the efficient performance of activities implementation at all levels.
  • Liaise with the local Government institutions, CCCs/ CCs, CHWs and other relevant community groups to select target beneficiaries for the project services
  • Manages the entire case management process in the recruitment and enrollment of target beneficiaries
  • Ensure the provision of quality service for project target beneficiaries based on each individual household’s case plan and needs identified for Support ‘Groups (SGs

Education: First Degree or Masters in Social Sciences including Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Public Health or in related fields.
3 years for Masters and minimum of 5 years for BA with professional experience in health and HIV/AIDS related project management/implementation.

  • Should have demonstrated experience in working with CSOs, CBOs, Government stakeholders and other community level actors.
  • Good interpersonal communication skill and ability to effectively liaise with staff, government and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to undertake frequent field travels to project areas on regular basis.
  • Demonstrated analytical and report writing skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English.
  • Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks, think creatively and strategically.
