Land O’Lakes International Development Fund, Public-Private Partnership for Artificial Insemination Delivery (PAID) is public private partnership between Land O’Lakes International Development Fund and the Government of Ethiopia working in high potential milk sheds in Ethiopia. PAID and the government will address genetics constraints to dairy sector development and growth in Ethiopia resulting in improved calves with higher productivity to meet a growing market demand. PAID is looking for Data Enumerators to enter, clean, reconcile and verify data collected from AI technicians on AI, PD, calving and farmers’ training.

Job description: Under the supervision of the Data Management Analyst (DMA) the Data Enumerators will
  • Enter completed data accurately
  • Clean data and check for errors
  • Verify data on AI, PD, Calving and Training performed by PAID AI technicians
  • Review and complete data edit report prepared by the sites
  • Import/export the data from/to appropriate data base system
  • Discuss with the DMA on the data edit reports
  • Maintain the data base as well as orderly filing of hard copies of the data
  • Communicate AI technicians and data entry persons in the region and compile information
  • Conduct monthly data monitoring for number of AI techs submitted data per cluster, missing and incomplete, information unusual values and other related issues share report to RFP and DMA
  • Ensuring the quality of data from collections to data entry
  • Maintain the confidentiality of all information collected
Job requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Economics, Statistics, Data Base, Computer Science, etc
  • Basic knowledge in computer (Microsoft Excel, Access, word)
  • Previous experience in data management
  • Knowledge on ODK is preferable
