Investment and Business Development Manager

Job Summary

We seek a skilled Investment and Business Development Manager to join our team in Addis Ababa. The ideal candidate will drive our company's investment and development objectives, fostering growth in a dynamic environment. Key responsibilities include strategizing for business improvement, conducting feasibility studies, and establishing vital business relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Develop strategies to enhance existing businesses and drive new investments.
• Conduct thorough feasibility studies for potential investments and provide actionable advice.
• Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and financiers.
• Identify financing sources for development initiatives.
• Contribute to company growth through strategic planning and professional development initiatives.
• Collaborate with the various concerned units of the company in the design of business development strategies.
• Prepare the investment development plans, including the identification, analysis and implementation modalities of priority investment initiatives,
• Prepare and present corporate investment development policies, strategies, portfolio analysis and reporting,
• Prepare financing and capital raising strategies including retained earnings, loans, shareholding, etc. in line with the legal and regulatory requirements,
• Analyse and monitor regulatory, financial, and institutional investment requirements and ensure eligibility of the planned investments,
• Ensure the alignment of the investment projects/ programs/ businesses with the company Strategies.

Requirements:

• MBA/BA in Business/Finance/Economics preferred.
• 8-10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in Investment and Business Development roles.
• Strong leadership and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in business communication and networking.
• Adaptability to diverse organizational environments.
• Knowledge of IT and analytical tools is more beneficial.
