Job Description

**Introduction:**
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Personal Assistant to support our busy Restaurant Manager at Olive and Bread. This role is important in facilitating the manager’s day-to-day operations and ensuring efficient communication with all team members including supervisors, chefs, and bar staff. The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple tasks efficiently.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the Restaurant Manager and other staff members, including communicating messages and organizing meetings.
  • Handle written communications in Amharic, including drafting letters, memos, and notices for staff and other stakeholders.
  • Manage and coordinate logistics for obtaining supplies by traveling using public transportation as needed.
  • Assist with scheduling and follow-up on tasks related to restaurant upgrades and maintenance.
  • Organize and maintain documentation and records, ensuring all paperwork is up to date and accessible.
  • Support the Restaurant Manager in daily administrative tasks and project management.
  • Coordinate and ensure that all instructions from the Restaurant Manager are relayed and adhered to by the relevant staff members.
  • Handle sensitive information with confidentiality.


**Requirements:**

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Amharic and English 
  • Proven experience as a personal assistant or similar administrative role.
  • Ability to travel locally using public transportation.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work.
  • High degree of attention to detail and discretion.
  • Familiarity with office management systems and procedures.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to respond to high-pressure situations calmly and efficiently.
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is a plus.
