Duties and Responsibilities
Collect information about customers, sales trends, products, key competitors, pricing models, sales, and methods of operation to direct future business and marketing plans.
Liaising with managers to ascertain the business objectives to understand what needs to be achieved.
Utilize statistical software to organize information monitoring the progress of research projects.
Understand business objectives and design surveys to discover prospective customers preferences.
Planning, implementing, controlling, analyzing and reporting on the information gathered.
Organize information with statistical software conducting qualitative or quantitative surveys.
Obtain qualitative and quantitative analyses to identify opportunities for product expansion.
Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties research and implement best practices.
Measuring the effectiveness of the current marketing programs and strategies of the company.
Apply statistical techniques to interpret data and produce substantiated recommendations.
Proactively share and present market research reports and data analysis throughout the organization.
Simplifying complex data into a user-friendly format, such as graphs, charts, and other visual aids.
Designing and coordinating research projects and commissioning surveys
Considering consumer preferences to determine the potential sales of a product.
Designing questionnaires and advertising on the methodology of collection of data.
Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties research and implement best practices.
Perform other duties assigned by the Sales and Marketing Director.
Requirements
Academic qualification
Degree in Marketing Management or related business fields
Additional qualifications
Proficiency in English, both writing and speaking is essential
Communication and interpersonal skills.
Creative and able to manage multiple tasks
Excellent knowledge of statistical packages and MS Office
Excellent data analytical skill
Years of experience:
3+ years of work experience in the fields
