The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is seeking to hire a Finance Officer, who has a strong financial management experience. The Finance Officer works closely with the Governance and Capacity Development Team in UNDP as well as staff of MOFEC, ensuring successful financial management and optimal harmonization and alignment. The incumbent will be based in MOFEC and will report to Multilateral Cooperation Director (MOFEC) as, well as to the project manager/Team Leader in UNDP
Contract type Service Contract (SB-4) – *Service Contract is a non-staff contractual modality. Duration: One year (renewable). Qualification and experience: B.A./B.Sc. Degree in Accounting/Finance or related fields

Interested applicants must have at least four years of relevant experience in project financial management (2 years with M.A/MSc. Degree). Experience in auditing along with financial management experience, understanding of UNDP’s financial management modalities of particularly in programmes and/or projects and experience in the usage of computers and office software package (MS Ward, Excel, etc.) and knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages would also be an asset.
