Ethiopian Red Cross Society (ERCS) wants to recruit employees in the following vacant positions the details of which are mentioned bellow.
The Ethiopian Red Cross Society (ERCS) is established on the eve of Ethio- Italian war, on July, 8, 1935 and signed the Geneva Convention July 25 of the same year and became 48th member of League of Red Cross/ Red Crescent Societies on 25, September 1935. Since then the Society have engaged on providing Humanitarian services & community based development initiatives.
Currently the ERCS has a structure consisting of 11 Regional Offices, 32 Zonal Branches and 112 District/Woreda Branches and 3673- grass root committees/Kebele Red Cross Committees.
Job Title: Drought Response Coordinator
Qualification Requirements: MPH in Public Health, MSc in Development study or Agriculture or Sociology with demonstrated 6 years or related experience. Salary: 18,685.00 Required #:01 Work Unit/ Project/ Program: DPR Department Terms of employment: Contract for 7 months Place of Work: Addis Ababa
Support and monitors the implementation of the project in the implementing districts (Oromia- Babile, Somali-Babile, Kuri-Afar, Hamer-SNNP)
Prepare implementation plan, budgeting, monitoring, and evaluation.
Coordinate, organize and facilitate meetings and workshop.
Document the impact from the implementation related activities.
Prepare procurement plan of the project in consultation with concerned bodies.
Follow up the quality and timing of distribution items procured by the project.
