About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Market Research Analyst to support our company’s entry into the Ethiopian car parts market. This is a contract-based position for an initial period of 3 months, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role for candidates who meet our performance criteria.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth market research on the Ethiopian car parts industry.
• Identify and analyze the most frequently sold car parts in the market.
• Research and map the main car parts sellers and distributors in Ethiopia.
• Establish and maintain connections with car parts sellers and distributors.
• Attend car parts exhibitions and industry events to gather market insights.
• Research and identify key import and export locations for car parts.
• Collect and compile car parts lists from local sellers and distributors.
• Develop strategies to offer car parts to local car shops and retailers.
• Assist in organizing and optimizing import and export processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in market research and analysis.
• Basic knowledge of the car parts business and industry dynamics.
• Strong connections within the car parts selling or distribution network.
• Basic understanding of import and export processes.
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).

Preferred Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and networking skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel for market research and industry events.
