Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct and oversee field surveys, including land, topographic, and hydrographic surveys as required.
- Manage all survey data, ensuring accuracy in data collection, storage, and reporting.
- Prepare detailed reports and technical drawings based on survey results.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to provide survey information for water distribution projects.
- Use and maintain survey instruments, including GPS, total stations, and leveling equipment.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety protocols, and project specifications.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior surveyors and field staff.
Qualifications:
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Years of Experience
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in land surveying, with a preference for those with experience in water distribution or related infrastructure projects.
· Proficiency with survey instruments and software, such as AutoCAD, GIS applications.
· Able to work using RTK and total station.
Additional Qualifications.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and travel to project sites as required.
- Professional Surveyor's License (preferred but not mandatory).
- Proficiency in using surveying instruments and software such as AutoCAD, GIS, and other relevant tools.
