Management Sciences for Health (MSH) is seeking an Accountant for a recently-awarded 5-year USAID supply chain and pharmaceutical management project in Ethiopia. The purpose is to provide comprehensive technical assistance to strengthen the health supply chain and pharmaceutical services in select geographic areas in Ethiopia, both of which are cornerstones to achieve critical life-saving priorities.

About the Role
The Accountant will be responsible for assisting the Director of Finance and Administration with safeguarding the assets (financial and physical) of MSH and ultimately the U.S. Government or other donor against fraud, loss or misuse. The Accountant will be responsible for ensuring that any money expended in the Country is done in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, MSH policy, and any cost principles imposed by the donor agency. The Accountant is primarily responsible for, but is not limited to, preparing payment vouchers, ensuring proper record keeping, activity advance reconciliations, and supporting the Director of Finance and Administration in VAT, WHT and other relevant Tax reporting. The Accountant is aware of and adheres to MSHβs procurement integrity standards in all activities.
