Habesha Breweries S.C. is currently looking for a fresh candidates. The hire will be through a third-party agency. The employment contract will be concluded with the third-party agency and not with Habesha Breweries.

Habesha Breweries Share Company (“Habesha”) is one of the leading Ethiopian brewing companies. Habesha was initiated by a group of local Ethiopian investors in 2009. The company is currently owned by Swinkels Family Brewers Holding N.V. (60%), 8,000 local shareholders (30%), and Linssen Participations B.V. (10%).

Hygiene Specialists are responsible for coordinating and executing planned cleaning schedules and basic maintenance activities on a daily and biweekly basis across designated outlets. Their primary duties include cleaning draught equipment and performing both planned and unplanned basic maintenance tasks during cleaning operations. They ensure that draught systems are thoroughly cleaned and properly maintained to deliver safe, high-quality products to customers and consumers.

Position: Hygiene Specialist

Job Requirements:

– BA/BSc degree in Electrical and Mechanical (Manufacturing) Engineering or related field.

– Recent graduate 

Responsibilities:

  • Follow cleaning schedules and clean 8 outlets per day, ensuring zero quality defects.
  • Maintain cooler water cleanliness and replace dirty water as needed.
  • Clean external parts like towers, faucets, drip trays, and keg dispensers based on biweekly plans.
  • Coach bar staff on beer pouring techniques, keg dispenser handling, and CO2 adjustments.
  • Perform installations and support the installation team when required.
  • Conduct basic maintenance and troubleshoot issues like foaming and dispenser problems.
  • Assist the warehouse team with issuing draught machines, accessories, and CO2.
  • Monitor spare parts and cleaning chemicals, ensuring availability and replenishment.
  • Audit draught system performance, identify inefficiencies, and perform root cause analysis.
  • Follow safety procedures and comply with Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS).
  • Document cleaning activities, findings, and chemical usage in C4C.
