European Union invites qualified candidates for the following job positions. The European Union (EU) is an economic and political partnership between 27 European countries. It plays an important role in international affairs through diplomacy, trade, development aid and working with global organizations. Abroad, the EU is represented through more than 140 diplomatic representations. known also as EU Delegations, which have a similar function to those of an embassy.
The European Union supports the efforts of Ethiopia to eradicate poverty, to foster inclusive and sustainable economic, social and environmental development while promoting human rights, democracy, and other elements of good governance.
Development aid further contributes to increased cooperation and dialogue in the main areas of mutual interest, as identified in the EU-Ethiopia strategic engagement. Furthermore, European solidarity is being effectively and visibly ensured through rapid help and relief assistance to Ethiopian populations affected by crises.

Place of Employment: Delegation of the European Union to Ethiopia – Addis Ababa
Employment Contract: Fixed term – 5 years after the probation period (60 days)
Working hours/week: 37.5
Salary: Group I – with starting basic salary of 2.595 EUR/month (payable equivalent in Ethiopian Birr).

The procedure
