Position 1: Principal Officer- Credit Appraisal

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance , Management or related fields.

Experience:

At least 5 years relevant experience with 1 years as Senior Officer as a Professional/Expert

This position is responsible for coordinating the credit risk due diligence assessment, monitor and process loan applications and appraisal processes to ensure the success of the Unit.

Position 2: Manager, Legal Advisor

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s/ B.Sc. Degree in law

Experience:

At least 11 years relevant experience with 2 years as Section Head Level Or Managerial Level

This position is responsible for assisting in the development of strategy, policies and procedures for legal function and managing all matters related to legal advice and other contracts that regulates the day to- day operations of the Bank.

Location: Addis Ababa,

Position 3: IFB- Shari’ah Advisor

Minimum requirements:

  • A member of SAB must have accumulated overall experience of five years or more (in teaching, research, Fatwa issuance, etc.) to be eligible for SAB member. 
  • A member of the SAB with Sharia’ah background is expected to be knowledgeable in the field of Shari’ah – that includes in Usulu al Fiqh (Rules of Islamic jurisprudence) and Fiqh al Mu’amalat (Islamic commercial jurisprudence).
  • The member of SAB shall at a minimum, have an academic qualification or it is highly desirable for the SAB to have at least diploma academically or has to be highly known public figure in religious teachings;
  • It is also desirable if he/she is able to demonstrate an adequate understanding of finance/banking in general and Islamic finance/banking in particular. 
  • Ability to write and speak in Arabic and/or English.

Location: Addis Ababa,

Position 4: Senior Internal Auditor

Required qualification and experience:

Education:

Bachelor’s/ B.Sc. Degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Finance and Auditing or related field                                     

Experience:

At least 4 years relevant experience with 2 years as Internal Auditor or equivalent 

Location: Addis Ababa, Adama
