Job Overview

Addis Bank is seeking qualified professionals across multiple positions in IT, auditing, and branch management. Successful candidates will play a key role in strengthening the Bank’s digital transformation, IT infrastructure, security operations, and financial oversight.

Available Positions

1. IT Security Engineer

  • Education: Bachelor’s in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years (1 year in junior position, preferably in banking)
  • Responsibilities: Conduct security assessments, vulnerability testing, risk analysis, and compliance activities; support IT projects and digital initiatives
  • Place of Work: Head Office

2. Datacenter Management Officer

  • Education: Bachelor’s in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years (1 year in junior officer position, preferably in banking)
  • Responsibilities: Provide 24/7 operational support and monitoring of data center facilities; ensure incident response and escalation for IT services
  • Place of Work: Head Office

3. Senior Digital Integration Officer

  • Education: Bachelor’s in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years (2 years in officer position, preferably in banking)
  • Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and support digital integrations, APIs, and ESB services; ensure secure and scalable digital interfaces

4. Senior IT Security Operation Officer

  • Responsibilities: Monitor threats, detect incidents, and coordinate security operations; provide guidance to junior staff; ensure compliance with security standards

5. Senior Performance & Operation Auditor

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Accounting & Finance, Management, Economics, or related fields
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years (2 years in officer position, preferably in banking)
  • Responsibilities: Plan and coordinate audits; ensure compliance with audit manuals and financial regulations; analyze branch returns

6. Team Leader, Digital Integration

  • Education: Bachelor’s in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
  • Experience: Minimum 6 years (2 years in principal or 3 years in senior officer positions, preferably in banking)
  • Responsibilities: Lead digital integration initiatives; oversee API design, ESB services, and digital project participation; ensure secure and scalable integrations

7. Branch Manager I

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Accounting & Finance, Banking, Management, or related fields
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years in banking (2 years in supervisory role)
  • Responsibilities: Manage branch operations; mobilize resources; approve loans and transfers; handle foreign exchange transactions; prepare branch reports
  • Place of Work: Bale Robe, Hawassa

8. Director, IT Infrastructure Department

  • Education: Master’s/Bachelor’s in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
  • Experience: Master’s – 8 years (4 years managerial); Bachelor’s – 10 years (4 years managerial), preferably in banking
  • Responsibilities: Oversee enterprise computing, data centers, networks, and IT service delivery; ensure infrastructure reliability, scalability, and security; support business continuity and disaster recovery
