Job Overview
PSI Ethiopia is seeking a Manager – AYSRH Programs to provide comprehensive technical, programmatic, and administrative coordination for the Adama Area Office SRH Department. The role covers projects such as Smart Start, IUCD scale-up, DMPA-SC/Self-Injection, HPV Vaccination, Smart Pathways, SAHQI, and upcoming cRMNCH initiatives. The manager will ensure effective planning, coordination, reporting, documentation, and stakeholder engagement to drive program efficiency and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate program operations strategies, implementation plans, and performance tracking.
- Support adaptive learning and implementation of AYSRH programs.
- Supervise and mentor AYSRH program staff at the area office level.
- Develop annual and quarterly activity and budget plans; monitor progress.
- Lead scale-up, institutionalization, quality assurance, training, and M&E activities.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement at regional, zonal, woreda, and community levels.
- Ensure sustainability of AYSRH activities within the health system.
- Compile and submit quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports.
- Lead monthly meetings and use evidence to drive program decisions.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Master’s in Public Health with at least 6 years of experience; OR
- First degree in Medicine, Public Health, Nursing, Midwifery, Population Studies, or related fields with at least 8 years of experience.
- Experience:
- Progressive program coordination/management experience in health or SRH.
- Strong skills in program planning, reporting, and documentation.
- Experience in donor/government reporting and compliance.
- Skills:
- Excellent coordination, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and program management tools.
- Fluency in English and Afan Oromo required.
