Data Center Facility (DCF) Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities

● Responsible for the design, implementation, commissioning and build out of new datacenter facilities and Structured cabling system(UTP/STP, Power ,fiber optics)

● Drive & implement projects to increase current facility capacity, efficiency, sustainability & reliability.

● Responsible for the installation of the racks and the provision of the power/cooling system.

● Management of the DC, in the provision of infrastructure & inventory asset management.

● Review contract compliance & ensure all SLA’s are achieved.

● Manage DC to resolve any infrastructure engineering issues.

● Delivery of exceptional customer service and satisfaction.

● coordinate projects, manage capacity, and optimize plant safety, performance, reliability, sustainability and efficiency.

● Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on all aspects of the critical facility infrastructure operations and maintenance.

● Develop solutions and RFP based client’s actual capacity

● Design and implement different systems of a datacenter, including but not limited to power system, cooling system, fire fighting system, alarm and door access system, surveillance, Data center management system

● Establish Bill of Material based on detailed site survey and work scope

● Develop HLD, LLD, ATP, As-built and related documentation

● Conduct hands on training and provide user manual to the client Skill and Experience ● Knowledge and experience on Environmental and Health Safety procedures (EHS)

● Proven experience in power distribution, UPS,Batteries and DC power system

● Basic knowledge of Air conditioning system and precision air conditioner in datacenter

● Basic knowledge of features and functions of Datacenter monitoring systems

● Customer service Management skills

● Analytical thinking and forward looking

● Interpersonal skills with attention to detail

● Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills - combined with a keen ability to communicate well in both verbal and written form.

● Excellent computer, office applications, Ms. Words, PPT, Excel and email skills

● Ability to learn new technologies quickly

● Excellent written and oral communication skill

● Strong interest to learn, adapt and cope with any assignment

● Managerial skill able to supervise, guide, empower subordinates and Manage department Education and Qualifications

● BSC degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electro-mechanical engineering, Communication engineering or related field

● Minimum 2 Years of Experience as DCF Engineer

● Industrial Certificate from Huawei, Cannovate, Vertive is highly advantageous

Salary: Negotiable
