Through the Analyst Trainee Program, participants will develop essential analytical and problem-solving skills, equipping them to contribute meaningfully to management consulting. Trainees will work alongside experienced consultants on real-world projects, gaining exposure to a wide range of consulting and advisory services. Responsibilities

As an Analyst Trainee, you will have the opportunity to build and refine a wide range of skills essential to your role. From the very start, you will actively apply and further develop your analytical, interpersonal, creative thinking, problem solving, business management, and leadership abilities. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in data collection and management using relevant tools to support project insights.
• Collaborating with team members to conduct thorough research and analysis on various industries, markets, and competitive landscapes.
• Developing strategic insights to help clients address complex business challenges and make informed decisions.
• Assisting in the creation of client presentations and reports, effectively translating complex analyses and insights into clear, compelling, and actionable recommendations.
• Participating in client meetings and contributing to key discussions.
• Engaging in continuous learning and development opportunities to enhance your skills and expertise in management consulting.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field (Exit exam result is not a requirement)
• Recent graduate or up to one year of work experience.
• Genuine intellectual curiosity and desire to innovate and bring large-scale change.
• Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Fluent in both Amharic and English.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Strong desire to learn, highly coachable, and values frequent, constructive feedback.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Commitment

Committed to working with Growth Capital Analytics for at least 2 years if offered a permanent position.
