Position Overview:
The Country Lead: Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding will drive the full talent acquisition life cycle, develop strategic employer branding initiatives, and ensure organizational talent development aligns with business priorities. Reporting to the People & Culture Director, this role leads efforts to attract, retain, and develop top talent, ensuring East Africa Bottling remains competitive and recognized as a preferred employer.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:

  • Design and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, sourcing, interviews, and offer negotiations.
  • Maintain relationships with recruitment partners and agencies.

Talent Development & Acceleration:

  • Develop programs that align employee growth with organizational objectives.
  • Identify high-potential employees and create customized development plans.
  • Coach and support managers in employee performance and career development.

Employer Branding:

  • Develop and promote the employer brand to attract and retain talent.
  • Create compelling branding campaigns and content across platforms.
  • Monitor and enhance employer brand perception.

Learning & Development:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify learning objectives and design comprehensive curricula.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance employee competencies.
  • Evaluate and continuously improve learning programs.

Performance Management:

  • Implement performance management processes, including goal setting and evaluations.
  • Provide guidance on performance expectations and improvement plans.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends and development opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: BA in Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years in talent acquisition, talent development, and employer branding, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in performance management, career development, succession planning, and learning initiatives.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor HR/talent teams.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, project management, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Innovative and capable of proposing creative solutions for talent development challenges.

Additional Requirements:

  • Applicants must be Ethiopian nationals.
