Ethio-Life continued to be the ONLY specialized company in the life insurance business in the Ethiopian insurance industry until August, 2012 In consideration of the immense potentials and viability of the general insurance business emanating from the rapid economic growth of the country, shareholders of Ethio-Life were determined to expand the service of the company by including Non-life (general) insurance products into its business portfolio.

Position 1: Engineering officer-I

Qualification: MSC/BCS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Civil Engineering or other related fields of study from a recognize University

Experience:A minimum of 2(two)  year of  relevant work experience  as surveyor or equivalent in the insurance Company

Additional qualities & abilities required:

• Considerable knowledge of surveying and assessment or investigation techniques
• Ability to conduct risk assessment
• Considerable negotiation and human relation skill
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skill
• Dependable and team player

Place of Work: Addis Ababa

Position 2: Reinsurance officer-I

Qualification:BA/BSC degree in Management, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, Statics or  other related fields of study from a  recognized University

Experience:A minimum of 2/two/ years of relevant work  experience  in the insurance Operation

Additional qualities & abilities required:

• Excellent knowledge of insurance business, reinsurance principle and practice
• Ability to analyze facts  and to make sound judgment
• Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and communication skill
• Dependable and team player

Place of Work: Addis Ababa

Position 3: Senior Reinsurance officer

Qualification: BA/BSC degree in Management, Accounting, Statics, Marketing, Economics or other related fields of study  from a recognize University

Experience: A minimum of 5(five) years of relevant work experience in insurance operation

Additional qualities & abilities required:

• Excellent knowledge of insurance business, reinsurance principle and practice
• Ability to analyze facts  and to make sound judgment
• Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and communication skill
• Dependable and team player

Place of work: Addis Ababa

Position 4: Manager, Claim Division

Qualification:BA/BSC  degree and above in Management, Business Management, Accounting, Marketing, Statics or other  related fields of Study  from a recognized University

Experience: A minimum of 8/eight/ years  of relevant work experience; out of which 2 years as a senior position in the insurance company

Additional qualities & abilities required

• Broad knowledge of insurance business
• Thorough knowledge of claims management method
• Good knowledge of company policies regarding claims
• Ability to effectively negotiate with clients
• Ability to make timely decision
• Analytical, interpersonal and good communication skill
