Position Overview
The Senior Trainer (MEP) will be responsible for developing, training, coaching, and reviewing the productivity of skilled and semi‑skilled labor across all project sites.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct training needs assessments and identify skill gaps across projects
- Collaborate with Training Coordinator/Capability Manager and HR teams to design and implement training programs
- Develop training curriculum and schedules for skilled and semi‑skilled labor force
- Deliver training using diverse methods (face‑to‑face, practical, mentoring, on‑the‑job sessions)
- Prepare evaluation exams at the end of training sessions
- Ensure cost‑effective training delivery by utilizing internal resources
- Maintain updated training records and databases
- Conduct project assessments and share improvement ideas
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electro‑Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a trainer
- Additional TVET training diploma is an added advantage
