Executive Head of Department -Consumer Segments

Role purpose:

  • To design and execute overall segments marketing strategies and end-to-end segment plans based on customer insights through setting objectives and developing short & mid-term strategies that are consistent with longer term strategies to increase revenue, and profitability via sustainable acquisition and loyalty improvements.
  • Full P&L accountability for all key Consumer Segments.
  • To develop segmented approach to manage consumer revenue and P&Ls in line with Indian consumer insights and the global segments approach
  • Develop and manage a high performing team and leads stakeholders in the organization to deliver on the company objectives.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

  • Responsible to grow all segments base and revenues
  • Design, launch, and manage end to end propositions
  • Develop and launch periodic acquisition promotions in order to increase customer base
  • Track the performance and revise propositions when necessary in order to increase revenue and profitability
  • Continuously demand key inputs from departments that manage market research, customer intelligence, data warehouse, and financial analysis to make informed decisions
  • Design and Manage loyalty program for premium and other segments
  • Develop the program and keep competitive & differentiated based on continues customer insight and objective data analysis
  • Manage all corresponding agencies the premium communication of the program at all touch-points
  • Design and manage total communication bundles including voice, device, MBB, services, accessories and seasonal promotions in order to drive acquisition as well as retention and increase premium revenue base
  • Review creative for ATL and BTL communication and work closely with Brand Team.
  • Ensure that all communication materials are in line with brand positioning and strategy
  • Develop capabilities of team to drive more efficient and effective business results via giving strategic guidance on team projects
  • Coaching, training and motivating team and build on strengths of the team members to deliver better results on an increasing scale for excellence in execution
