Position: Human Resources and General Services Officer
Reporting To: General Manager and HR Manager
Location: Ethiopia
The Human Resources and General Services Officer will support Lesaffre’s HR and administrative operations. This position involves managing recruitment, employee relations, training, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws, while also overseeing general services such as cleaning, security, and facility support.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Management

Coordinate end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes.

Maintain and update employee personnel records and documentation.

Administer employee benefits: annual leave, insurance, pension, and medical coverage.

Monitor employee attendance and leave records.

Support performance reviews and internal communication activities.

Identify training needs and liaise with training providers.

Ensure compliance with Ethiopian labor laws and company policies.

Prepare reports and assist in HR audits and compliance checks.
General Services Management

Supervise and schedule cleaners, guards, and other support staff.

Oversee facility hygiene, catering, and security operations.

Handle complaints and feedback related to general services.

Ensure a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
Qualifications and Experience

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of proven experience in HR or administrative roles, preferably in an international or industrial setting.

Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office and HR systems.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of Ethiopian labor law.
