Position Overview:
The Learning and Knowledge Management (LKM) Advisor leads the program’s learning agenda, fostering a culture of continuous learning and adaptive management. This role coordinates learning cycles, facilitates reflection events, produces knowledge products, and ensures learning informs strategy, implementation, and policy influence.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement the LKM framework for the program.

Collaborate with program staff, MEAL teams, and partners to identify learning priorities aligned with the Theory of Change.

Integrate learning activities across program cycles, including design, implementation, and M&E.

Facilitate learning events: pause-and-reflect sessions, after-action reviews, cross-learning visits.

Organize communities of practice and thematic working groups for knowledge sharing.

Document lessons learned and case studies, emphasizing inclusion and young women’s participation.

Produce and disseminate knowledge products: technical briefs, learning notes, and innovation summaries.

Maintain a centralized digital repository for program documents and learning materials.

Support capacity building of program staff and partners on knowledge management tools and methodologies.

Integrate learning outputs into donor reports, program reviews, and adaptive management.
Qualifications & Experience:
-
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Knowledge Management, Development Studies, Economics, or related field.

Minimum 10 years of experience in learning, knowledge management, or M&E within development programs.

Experience in value chain development, agribusiness, or youth employment projects.

Experience in national and international organizations.

Strong skills in facilitating learning processes, producing knowledge products, and adaptive learning activities.

Experience developing and implementing learning agendas aligned with a Theory of Change.

Excellent writing, communication, facilitation, and analytical skills.

Proficiency with digital platforms for documentation and knowledge sharing.

Fluency in English is required.
