The Manager – Business Assurance plays a critical role in protecting Safaricom Ethiopia’s revenue streams and ensuring financial accuracy. This position is responsible for implementing and monitoring revenue assurance controls, preventing revenue leakage, and maintaining billing integrity across services such as Voice, SMS, Data, and M‑PESA.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage robust revenue assurance models for telecom and financial services.
• Oversee billing assurance for M‑PESA, airtime distribution, agent commissions, and reconciliations.
• Conduct audits of network configurations to detect risks of revenue leakage.
• Ensure accurate reporting in line with IFRS standards and support daily revenue reconciliations.
• Monitor churn, fraud, and competitor insights to provide actionable business intelligence.
• Guarantee 100% payments integrity for commissions, partner revenue share, roaming, and interconnect.
• Lead and inspire a team of Revenue Assurance Analysts, fostering digital and technical skills.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align assurance initiatives with business objectives.

🎓 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Economics, Commerce, Engineering, or IT.

• Proven ability to handle large datasets and explain trends/variances.
