📌 Position Overview

The TVET PURE Advisor will collaborate with (A)-TVETs and the Ministry of Labor and Skills (MoLS) to integrate renewable energy solutions into vocational training. This role ensures that students are equipped to provide after‑sales services for PURE technologies, bridging the gap between solution providers and technical training institutions.


🔑 Key Responsibilities

  • Update TVET curricula to incorporate PURE technologies (solar irrigation, biodigesters, cold storage, dryers).
  • Upgrade practical training facilities to include renewable energy systems.
  • Develop PURE short courses in collaboration with MoLS, targeting women and youth.
  • Conduct gap analysis between current TVET offerings and PURE solution provider needs.
  • Track KPIs related to graduate outcomes and employment pathways.
  • Collaborate with MEL teams to measure impact and report progress to donors.
  • Contribute to donor communications and project outcome reporting.

🎓 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Knowledge Management, Vocational Training, or related fields (Master’s preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of vocational training in Ethiopia and short course development with MoLS.
  • Proven track record in developing practical course materials, ideally in horticulture and PURE.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working with MoLS and TVETs on curriculum development.
  • Excellent facilitation, negotiation, and diplomatic skills.
  • Strong writing, communication, and analytical abilities.
  • Experience in both international and national organizations.
  • Fluency in English required.
