1. Junior Secretary

Work Location: City Branches

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Diploma or Diploma-equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience

Job Purpose
The Junior Secretary is responsible for supporting the daily administrative and secretarial operations of the work unit, ensuring smooth workflow and effective office coordination.


2. Branch Manager – IV

Work Location: Yirgalem and Bule Hora Branches

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or related fields
  • Minimum of three (3) years banking experience, including at least one (1) year as Business Manager-II or equivalent

Job Purpose
To manage overall branch banking operations in line with the Bank’s policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.


3. Branch Manager – IV

Work Location: Kebridehar, Kobo Harerge, and branches under Jimma District

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or related fields
  • Minimum of three (3) years banking experience, including at least one (1) year as Business Manager-II or equivalent

Job Purpose
To ensure efficient branch operations, compliance with internal guidelines, and delivery of quality banking services.


4. Branch Manager – III

Work Location: Jimma Abajifar and Jiren Branches

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or related fields
  • Minimum of four (4) years relevant experience, including at least one (1) year as Branch Manager-IV or Branch Business Manager-I

Job Purpose
To lead branch performance, oversee operational activities, and enhance customer service standards.


5. Senior Electrical Engineer

Work Location: Head Office

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of four (4) years relevant work experience, including one (1) year as Electrical Engineer-I or equivalent
  • Strong technical, leadership, and teamwork skills

Job Purpose
To supervise electrical works, ensure quality and safety standards, interpret technical specifications, and support the introduction of modern electrical systems and construction methods.


6. Manager – Treasury Sales Desk

Work Location: Head Office

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Economics, Psychology, or Business Commerce
  • Six (6) to eight (8) years relevant experience in banking and global market sales
  • Knowledge of Foreign Exchange and Money Market operations
  • Strong marketing and communication skills

Job Purpose
To grow the Treasury client portfolio and achieve financial targets through Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income, and Money Market products.


7. Manager – Trading Desk

Work Location: Head Office

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business Commerce, Statistics, or professional qualifications such as CFA
  • Six (6) to eight (8) years trading experience in Foreign Exchange and Fixed Income products
  • Strong understanding of Treasury Bills, Bonds, FX trading, and Central Bank regulations

Job Purpose
To manage the Bank’s Foreign Exchange and Fixed Income trading activities while maximizing profitability within approved risk limits.
