ACTED is a French humanitarian NGO, founded in 1993, dedicated to supporting vulnerable populations affected by crises worldwide. ACTED works to break the poverty cycle, foster sustainable development, and reduce vulnerability to disasters through long-term humanitarian interventions.

We are seeking a Logistics Intern to join our capital office in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, under the supervision of the Senior Logistics Officer. This internship provides practical exposure to logistics, supply chain management, and humanitarian operations.

🔹 Position: Logistics Intern

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (fresh graduates welcome)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Stock/Warehouse Management – Maintain and monitor inventory records
2. Procurement – Assist with sourcing and purchasing activities
3. Delivery Follow-Up – Track and ensure timely delivery of materials
4. Filing – Maintain accurate and organized documentation
5. Support in Fleet Management – Assist in monitoring vehicles and transport
6. Accountability to Communities and Beneficiaries – Ensure logistics processes support program objectives
