The Addis Ababa Revenues Authority invites qualified candidates to apply for multiple professional positions. AARA leads tax and revenue administration in the Addis Ababa city administration, operating a large-taxpayer office, small taxpayer units and micro-taxpayer offices across the city.


Open Positions (Specialist I)

Candidates may apply only for one position. Each vacancy requires relevant academic qualifications in fields listed below.

  11. Doubtful Accounts Receivable Specialist I

Relevant study areas (acceptable degrees):
Accounting, Accounting & Finance, Banking & Finance, Public Finance, Cooperative Accounting & Taxation, Development Economics, Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Tax & Customs Administration, Administrative Services Management & Technology, Business Information Systems, Marketing Management, International Trade & Investment Management, Cooperative Business Management, and related fields.


Minimum Academic Requirements

  • Applicants must be graduates from regular (public) degree programs.
  • Eligible graduating years (no experience required): 2015, 2016, 2017 (E.C.).
  • CGPA requirement:
    • Male applicants: minimum cumulative GPA 3.2
    • Female applicants: minimum cumulative GPA 3.0
  • Degrees from private institutions must be certified by the Federal Education and Training Authority.

Work Locations

  • Headquarters (Addis Ababa) and across the Authority’s 17 branch offices. Applicants should be prepared to work at any assigned location.
