Position: Documentation / Customer Service
Key Responsibilities
- Verify shipping documents including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and Bill of Lading.
- Coordinate with customs officials for smooth clearance of shipments.
- Ensure compliance with Ethiopian customs regulations and procedures.
- Follow up on shipments from arrival until final clearance and delivery.
- Resolve customs queries and documentation discrepancies.
- Provide daily status updates to customers and respond promptly.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of Ethiopian customs clearance procedures is an advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office).
