About Ethiopian Railways Corporation

The Ethiopian Railways Corporation (ERC) is the national railway operator of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, established on November 20, 2007, under Regulation 141/2007. ERC is mandated to develop railway infrastructure and provide passenger and freight rail transportation services across Ethiopia. Operating under the Ministry of Transport, ERC plays a vital role in connecting regions and supporting economic growth.

Available Positions

1. Hardware Technician II

• Education: BSc in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering (Computer Stream), or related fields
• Experience: 0–2 years of relevant experience
• Location: Head Office

2. Senior System Analyst

• Education: MSc/BSc in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering (Computer Stream), or related fields
• Experience: 4–6 years of relevant experience
• Location: Head Office

3. Concrete Batching Plant Manager

• Education: MSc/BSc in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• Experience: 10–12 years of general experience, including at least 4 years in concrete and construction materials production or construction plant management (mandatory)
• Location: Head Office (Batching Plant Site)

4. Secretary II

• Education: Level III in Secretarial Science & Office Management
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Secretary
• Number of Positions: 4
• Location: Head Office
