🔹 Vacancy 1: Manager, Pharmaceutical Operations

Job Summary

The Manager, Pharmaceutical Operations is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and controlling the procurement, storage, distribution, and sales of medicines and medical supplies, ensuring compliance with EFDA, Good Storage Practice (GSP), and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead pharmaceutical procurement, storage, and distribution activities
  • Ensure compliance with EFDA regulations, GSP, and GDP
  • Monitor inventory to avoid stock-outs, expiries, overstocking, and slow-moving items
  • Oversee Central Medical Warehouse operations and reporting
  • Chair drug selection, quantification, and procurement committees
  • Manage supplier performance, transit logistics, and customs clearance
  • Ensure proper disposal of expired or damaged medicines
  • Coordinate with finance, marketing, and outlet teams
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and special operational reports

Qualification Requirements

  • Second or First Degree in:
    • Pharmacy (mandatory for Master’s applicants)
    • Business Administration
    • Public Health
    • Leadership / Supervisory Management
    • Organizational Development or related fields
  • 8–10 years relevant experience
  • 4–6 years in a managerial position

Job Summary

The Project Design and Proposal Development Manager leads resource mobilization, donor engagement, and proposal development for ERCS emergency and development programs. The role ensures alignment with donor priorities, organizational strategy, and cross-cutting themes such as gender, inclusion, sustainability, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead development of high-quality proposals and concept notes
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with institutional and private donors
  • Coordinate responses to funding calls and donor solicitations
  • Oversee needs assessments, baseline surveys, and feasibility studies
  • Support consortium building and joint funding applications
  • Provide technical backstopping to branch and regional offices
  • Organize trainings on project design, grant writing, and partnerships
  • Maintain donor intelligence systems and funding pipelines
  • Ensure timely submission and follow-up of grant proposals
