Ethiopian Reinsurance S.C (Ethio Re) was incorporated under the Insurance Business Proclamation No.746/2012 and began operations on July 1, 2016. As Ethiopia’s first reinsurance company, Ethio Re transacts both life and non‑life businesses, providing comprehensive inward reinsurance cover to domestic insurers while selectively accepting international business.

Available Positions

1. Office Assistant

• Qualification: Diploma (TVET) in Secretarial Science, Office Management, or related fields
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of directly related experience
• Location: Addis Ababa

2. Life Underwriting Officer

• Qualification: BA in Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related fields
• Experience: Minimum 4 years of directly related experience in (Re)insurance
• Location: Addis Ababa

3. Retrocession Management Officer

• Qualification: BA in Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related fields
• Experience: Minimum 4 years of directly related experience in (Re)insurance
• Skills: Proficiency in English and French (speaking and writing) is mandatory
• Location: Addis Ababa
