FGAE is recruiting a KPP‑Friendly Clinic Nurse to provide high‑quality, confidential, and non‑discriminatory HIV and Sexual & Reproductive Health (SRH) services to Key and Priority Populations (KPPs), including Female Sex Workers (FSWs), High‑Risk Adolescent Girls and Young Women (HR‑AGYW), and other vulnerable groups.
Position: KPP‑Friendly Clinic Nurse
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Clinical Service Delivery
- Provide HIV Testing Services (HTS) in line with national guidelines.
- Conduct STI screening, syndromic management, and referrals.
- Deliver SRH counseling, condom demonstration, and risk‑reduction education.
- Manage first‑line response and referrals for Gender‑Based Violence (GBV) survivors.
- Facilitate PrEP/PEP referral pathways and follow‑up.
- Monitor vital signs, manage minor illnesses, and conduct basic assessments.
Client Management & Navigation
- Maintain strict confidentiality and non‑discriminatory care.
- Follow up on missed appointments and link clients to Peer Support Providers (PSPs).
- Support PSPs in peer sessions to improve service uptake.
Documentation & Reporting
- Record services using Ministry of Health‑approved tools.
- Ensure timely reporting to FGAE and host health facility.
- Support data quality assurance (DQA) activities.
Collaboration & Coordination
- Work with facility management for service integration.
- Participate in weekly coordination meetings with FGAE and facility teams.
- Support orientation, mentoring, and supervision of PSPs.
- Join supportive supervision and DQA sessions with CCRDA and FGAE.
Commodities & Supplies Management
- Track condom, test kit, and consumable stocks.
- Report stock‑outs immediately.
- Ensure safe disposal of medical waste and compliance with infection prevention protocols.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or BSc in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid professional license from Ethiopian regulatory authority.
- Minimum 5 years’ professional experience in HIV/SRH service delivery.
- Experience with KPPs, Drop‑In Centers (DICs), or high‑risk populations preferred.
- Strong understanding of confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Basic computer literacy and HMIS familiarity.
Competencies & Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of HIV prevention, SRH protocols, and GBV response.
- Ability to work with marginalized and vulnerable populations.
- Good organizational and documentation skills.
- Client‑centered, empathetic, and non‑judgmental approach.

- Uphold zero tolerance for client abuse or discrimination.
- Adhere strictly to safeguarding policies.
- Report any risks, incidents, or breaches immediately.
