The FAO Internship Programme gives selected candidates the chance to gain international work experience while supplementing their academic knowledge. 🌍 Eligibility Criteria for FAO Internship 2025

Nationality: Open to candidates who are nationals of FAO Member States.

Education: Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate programme at a recognized university, or be recent graduates.

Languages: Must have working knowledge of at least one FAO official language (English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, or Russian). Knowledge of a second language is an asset.

Age: Candidates must be aged 21–30 at the start of the internship.

Skills: Ability to work in an international, multicultural environment, strong communication skills, and good computer literacy.

Residence/Visa: Candidates should hold valid residence or immigration status in the duty station country before starting.

Family Restriction: Candidates with close family members (father, mother, brother, sister) employed by FAO are not eligible.

Duration: Assignments range from 3 to 11 months.
