Position: Film and Audio Editor – Radio and TV Program

Job_Requirements: Diploma in Videography or Camera with 5 years related experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Edit and assemble raw audio and video footage into polished final products for radio, television, and digital platforms.
  • Synchronize audio with video, ensuring high-quality sound and picture alignment.
  • Apply sound effects, background music, transitions, and visual effects to enhance storytelling.
  • Collaborate with producers, directors, and content creators to understand project vision and requirements.
  • Ensure all edited content meets technical specifications, broadcasting standards, and quality guidelines.
  • Review and correct footage for continuity, pacing, and accuracy.
  • Archive and organize media assets for easy retrieval and future use.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot editing equipment and software to ensure smooth production workflows.
  • Stay updated on latest editing software, tools, and industry trends.
  • Assist in creating promotional materials, teasers, trailers, and social media clips from existing footage.
  • Ensure deadlines are met while maintaining creative and technical quality.

Salary and Benefits: As per the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia – Pay scale.
