🌍 Habitat for Humanity Ethiopia – Multiple Job Vacancies
Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Employment Type: Contract (1 year, with possibility of extension)

1. Specialist – Communication (Mid Level, 3–5 years)
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage external communications, PR, and media relations
- Create compelling content for social media, website, and donor reports
- Support internal communications and brand management
- Document program activities through stories, case studies, and visuals
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, PR, Political Science, English, or related fields
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in communications
- Skills in photography, videography, and social media management
- Strong writing and presentation abilities in English and Amharic
2. Procurement & Logistics Officer (Mid Level, 3–5 years)
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate procurement, vendor management, and logistics operations
- Manage annual procurement plans and vendor databases
- Oversee fleet management, asset control, and transport scheduling
- Ensure compliance with HFHE procurement policies and donor regulations
Requirements:
- BA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in procurement/logistics roles
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and computer skills (Excel, Word)
- Ability to travel to project sites and work independently
3. Specialist – Urban Programs (Senior, 5–8 years)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead HFHE’s Urban Development Framework
- Provide expertise in housing, slum upgrading, land tenure, and infrastructure
- Build partnerships with government, NGOs, and donors
- Conduct research and promote innovative urban housing solutions
Requirements:
- Advanced degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Urban Management
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in urban planning or housing programs
- Strong knowledge of urban governance and housing finance mechanisms
- Excellent project management and partnership‑building skills
4. Habitability & HDRR Manager (Senior, 5–8 years)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead HFHE’s Habitability & Housing Disaster Resilience and Recovery Strategy
- Provide technical guidance on resilient housing and climate adaptation
- Manage DRR and recovery projects with donors (EU, UNICEF, UNDP, UNHCR, BMZ)
- Build partnerships with government, UN agencies, and civil society
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in DRR, housing recovery, or construction management
- Proven ability to manage large‑scale resilience projects
- Strong knowledge of Ethiopia’s disaster management and housing policies
- Master’s degree in Disaster Risk Management, Climate Change Adaptation, or related field preferred
