Job Vacancy: Junior Business Development & Digital Operations Assistant

Credence is looking for a motivated, organized, trustworthy, and fast-learning Junior Business Development & Digital Operations Assistant to support different business activities, including business development, tender support, customer follow-up, online service platform support, digital marketing, social media support, and general office coordination.

This position is suitable for a fresh graduate or junior professional who is serious, disciplined, and interested in gaining practical experience in business development, tenders, customer communication, digital platforms, and social media management.

The ideal candidate should be a multi-tasker who can follow instructions carefully, communicate professionally, keep records properly, and learn new tasks quickly.

Main Responsibilities

Business Development & Customer Follow-Up

  • Search and identify potential customers for new business opportunities.
  • Prepare customer lists and follow-up records.
  • Contact companies by phone, email, and other professional channels.
  • Send company introductions, catalogs, and basic business information.
  • Follow up with potential customers and report feedback.
  • Assist in collecting market information.

Tender Support

  • Search for relevant tender opportunities.
  • Assist in buying tender documents when required.
  • Review tender documents and prepare requirement checklists.
  • Organize company documents, supplier documents, and bid files.
  • Assist in printing, scanning, signing, stamping, sealing, and arranging tender documents.
  • Follow tender deadlines and report urgent actions.

Online Business / Freelance Platform Support

  • Assist in searching for suitable online business opportunities.
  • Support the preparation and organization of profiles, service descriptions, and proposal drafts.
  • Track submitted applications, responses, and follow-up actions.
  • Organize consultant information, CVs, portfolios, and supporting documents.
  • Maintain records of online leads and opportunities.

Social Media & Digital Marketing Support

  • Assist in preparing simple social media posts and captions.
  • Support basic content planning for business pages.
  • Help manage customer inquiries from social media platforms.
  • Assist in organizing photos, product information, and promotional materials.
  • Support digital marketing activities for related business projects.

Office & Reporting Support

  • Prepare simple letters, emails, tables, and reports.
  • Maintain organized records of customers, tenders, suppliers, and opportunities.
  • Prepare daily and weekly activity reports.
  • Handle assigned follow-up tasks responsibly.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company information, prices, customers, suppliers, and business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Economics, Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, Office Management, IT, Communication, or related fields.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Good Amharic communication skill.
  • Basic computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PDF, email, and internet research.
  • Ability to use social media platforms professionally.
  • Confidence to make business phone calls and follow up with companies.
  • Good organization and documentation skills.
  • Willingness to learn new tasks and work under guidance.
  • Honesty, discipline, patience, and attention to detail.
  • Tender, sales, digital marketing, customer service, or online platform experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Fresh graduates and junior applicants are encouraged to apply.
