👨‍🔬 Position: Junior Microbiologist

🎓 Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biology
• Work Experience: No prior experience required (Fresh graduates encouraged to apply)

📋 Key Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Microbiology Section Head, the Junior Microbiologist will:

• Collect and store samples (raw materials, finished products, water, etc.) under sterile and aseptic conditions
• Prepare culture media and sterilized containers for microbiological testing
• Sterilize media, equipment, utensils, and glassware according to SOPs
• Perform environmental monitoring: airborne microbial count, surface swabs, and personnel hygiene checks
• Assist in incoming sample planning and documentation
• Ensure lab hygiene and follow lab safety protocols
• Maintain and verify laboratory instruments and logbooks
• Support senior microbiologists in sample testing and validation tasks
• Decontaminate and dispose of cultures and media in line with environmental safety standards
• Participate in OOS (Out of Specification) investigations
• Submit test results for review and approval
• Ensure lab equipment is shut down properly when not in use
• Report equipment or material damage to the section head
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

💰 Salary: As per company scale
