Kifiya Financial Technology invites passionate and talented fresh graduates and final-year students to apply for its MERL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Research & Learning) Internship Program 2025.

Kifiya is one of Ethiopia’s leading innovators in digital financial services, AI-based modeling, and big data solutions, transforming access to finance and markets for millions. The company builds digital infrastructure for credit, insurtech, and payments — empowering banks and non-bank institutions to expand financial inclusion and drive digital transformation.

Position: MERL Intern

Location: Addis Ababa
Application Deadline: November 11, 2025

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Information Systems, Development Studies, or related fields.
  (Final-year students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.)
• Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Power BI, SPSS, Metabase, or KoboToolbox is an added advantage
• Languages: Excellent command of English and Amharic
• Attributes: Detail-oriented, analytical, eager to learn, and committed to teamwork and Kifiya’s mission

Learning Opportunities:

• Hands-on experience with digital MERL systems such as Metabase, OVP, and KoboToolbox
• Mentorship in data analysis, visualization, and impact reporting
• Exposure to Mastercard Foundation frameworks on youth employment and dignified work
• Participation in research dissemination and internal learning events
