Position Summary

The Massage Therapist will provide professional massage and body treatments to guests, ensuring comfort, safety, and satisfaction. Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering massage services using props, products, and current techniques
  • Performing body treatments (scrubs, wraps, hydrotherapy)
  • Assessing guest needs and contraindications before service
  • Maintaining cleanliness and sterilization of tools and treatment areas
  • Promoting and selling spa/salon services and retail products
  • Monitoring schedules and adhering to Marriott standards of service
  • Handling inappropriate guest behavior according to company procedures
  • Reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions

Qualifications

  • Education: Certificate in Massage Therapy
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of related work experience
  • Supervisory Experience: Not required
  • Skills:
    • Knowledge of massage modalities and spa treatments
    • Strong communication and guest service skills
    • Professional appearance and adherence to safety standards
    • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
