Menschen für Menschen Foundation is inviting qualified applicants for the position of Monitoring & Evaluation Officer to support its integrated rural development projects in Boreda and Gofa.

Position: Monitoring & Evaluation Officer

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage a performance monitoring framework with clear goals, outcomes, outputs, inputs, processes, indicators, and reporting formats.
  • Develop a comprehensive baseline of infrastructure, basic services, and socio‑economic conditions in target areas.
  • Collect periodic data against the baseline to assess and report on overall development.
  • Conduct surveys and review existing information for baseline data.
  • Assist the Project Manager and Department Head in developing work plans and monitoring frameworks.

Qualifications

  • Education: BSc in Agricultural Economics, Economics, Natural Resource Management, or Statistics.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in impact and performance evaluations.
  • Language: Strong command of spoken and written English.

Employment Terms

  • Contract: Yearly renewable.
  • Salary: Negotiable.
