Nib International Bank S.C Job Vacancy 2025 – External Vacancy Announcement No. 066/25

Nib International Bank S.C is seeking qualified and dedicated professionals to fill multiple vacant positions across its Head Office and branch network.

The Bank was established on 26 May 1999 under license No. LBB/007/99, in accordance with the Commercial Code of Ethiopia and Proclamation No. 84/1994. It began operations on 28 October 1999 with 27 employees and has since grown into one of Ethiopia’s reputable private banks.
At inception, the Bank had a paid-up capital of Birr 27.6 million and an authorized capital of Birr 150 million, contributed by 717 shareholders.

Available Vacancies

1. Junior Banking Business Officer (IFB)

Duty Station: Branches under City District

Education

  • BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or related fields.

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a financial institution as a Junior Banking Business Officer (CSO) or equivalent core banking role.
  • Knowledge of Sharia/IFB banking is an advantage.

2. Junior Cyber Security Engineer & Testing Officer

Duty Station: Head Office

Education

  • BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, MIS, or related fields.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.

Advantageous Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Nmap, Wireshark
  • Basic scripting (Python, Bash)
  • Understanding of DAST/SAST security testing

3. Junior Cyber Security Incident Response Officer

Duty Station: Head Office

Education

  • BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, MIS, or related fields.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.

Advantageous Skills

  • Knowledge of SIEM systems
  • Endpoint security tools
  • Network security basics
  • Malware analysis, phishing investigation, intrusion detection

4. Banking Business Officer (IFB)

Duty Station: Branches under City District

Education

  • BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or related fields.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial institutions
  • At least 1 year as a Junior Banking Business Officer or equivalent
  • Sharia/IFB knowledge is an advantage

5. Associate Cyber Security Engineer & Testing Officer

Duty Station: Head Office

Education

  • BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, MIS, or related fields.

Experience

  • 3 years of relevant work experience
  • At least 2 years as a Junior Cyber Security Engineer & Testing Officer or equivalent role

Advantageous Skills

  • Vulnerability assessment & penetration testing tools
  • Scripting/automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
  • Certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+

6. Associate Cyber Security Incident Response Officer

Duty Station: Head Office

Education

  • BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, MIS, or related fields.

Experience

  • 3 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum 2 years as a Junior Cyber Security Incident Response Officer

Advantageous Skills

  • SIEM and endpoint security tools
  • Malware analysis, intrusion detection, phishing investigation

7. Senior Compliance Officer

Duty Station: Head Office

Education

  • MA/BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or related areas.

Experience

  • 4/6 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum 2 years as a Compliance Officer or related position

8. Senior Cyber Security Engineer & Testing Officer

Duty Station: Head Office

Education

  • MSc/BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, MIS, or related fields.

Experience

  • 4/6 years of relevant work experience
  • At least 2 years as a Cyber Security Engineer & Testing Officer or Security Solution Officer

Advantageous Skills

  • Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nessus, Nmap, Wireshark
  • Certifications such as CEH, CISSP

9. Principal General Accounts Officer

Duty Station: Head Office

Education

  • MA/BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or related fields.

Experience

  • 5/7 years of relevant experience
  • At least 2 years as a Senior Accountant or equivalent role

10. Principal Financial Reporting & Budget Control Officer

Duty Station: Head Office

Education

  • MA/BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or related fields.

Experience

  • 5/7 years of relevant work experience
  • At least 2 years as a Financial Reporting & Budget Control Officer

11. Branch Manager II – Bahir Dar Branch

Education

  • MA/BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or related areas.

Experience

  • 6/8 years of banking experience
  • Minimum 2 years as Branch Manager or equivalent core banking role
