Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the local purchasing team to ensure competence and engagement
- Drive cross-functional coordination to plan and order raw materials, finished goods, and packaging materials
- Monitor purchase orders and escalate issues when necessary
- Report on local KPIs for indirect and raw materials
- Recommend optimal logistics solutions considering packaging, transport, regulations, and costs
- Support Group Purchasing by managing local suppliers and securing agreements for indirect materials
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
- 3–6 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing company
- Leadership and project management experience (essential)
- Strong knowledge of ERP and planning processes
- Experience analyzing large datasets using Excel or similar tools
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and networking skills
- Willingness to travel frequently
