Safaricom Ethiopia is seeking qualified and passionate professionals to join its dynamic team. The company is owned by an international consortium including Vodafone Group, Safaricom PLC, Vodacom Group, Sumitomo Corporation, and British International Investment (BII).

1. IT Business Analyst

Location: Addis Ababa
Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business-related field.
• Minimum 2 years of broad technical experience (databases, applications, infrastructure, cloud, system design).
• Preferred: Business Analysis certification (CBAP, IIBA) and experience in agile & waterfall methodologies.
• Strong business acumen, stakeholder persuasion skills, and ability to guide others in architecture principles.
• Telecoms knowledge including VAS, Charging, CRM, and Digital Services.

2. IT Solutions Architect

Location: Addis Ababa
Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business-related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of broad technical background (databases, infrastructure, cloud, system design).
• Preferred: Experience as developer, systems engineer, or delivery lead.
• Telecoms knowledge including VAS, Charging, CRM.
• Strong business acumen and ability to drive initiatives in complex environments.

3. Facility Lead (Internal/External)

Location: Addis Ababa
Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Property & Facilities Management or business-related field.
• Minimum 6 years post-graduation experience, including 3 years in supervisory/managerial role.
• Strong vendor management, invoice processing, and SLA coordination skills.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office and facility management systems.

4. Senior Manager: MPESA Finance (Internal/External)

Location: Addis Ababa
Qualifications & Experience:

• Business/IT-related degree.
• Qualified Accountant (CPA(K), ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
• 5–8 years’ experience in financial services, with specialization in mobile money.
• Proven ability in process simplification, digitalization, and automation.

5. Executive Head of Department – Financial Business Partnering – Commercial (Internal/External)

Location: Addis Ababa
Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
• At least 8 years’ experience with deep commercial knowledge of telecoms or similar sector.
• 10 years of broad finance experience (management accounting, forecasting, planning, operations).
• Excellent commercial acumen.
