Position Overview

The Project Data Clerk will ensure accurate entry, validation, and management of project data from multiple sources. The role supports project officers and coordinators by maintaining databases, preparing reports, and safeguarding data integrity.


Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and compile data from project officers and coordinators.
  • Enter and validate data in project databases.
  • Track statistics and trends in collaboration with program teams.
  • Prepare updated figures and respond to information requests.
  • Review and reconcile data entries with hard copies.
  • Maintain database backups and ensure confidentiality of beneficiary information.
  • Verify, correct, and update beneficiary records.
  • Support reporting requirements for project and national offices.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Statistics.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years as a data clerk, encoder, or similar role.
  • Desired Assets:
    • Previous NGO experience preferred.
    • Strong MS Office and database management skills.
    • Typing speed and accuracy; excellent spelling and grammar.
    • Familiarity with office equipment (printers, scanners).
    • Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
