Open Positions
Position 1: WASH Advocacy and Partnerships Advisor
- Employment Type: Full‑time
- Job Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
- Contract Duration: Initial one year, with strong prospects for extension
- Eligibility: Open to Ethiopian nationals only
Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of WASH systems strengthening projects
- Provide technical support to partners in governance, service delivery, and accountability
- Develop advocacy strategies aligned with national WASH policies and global commitments (SDG 6, human rights to water and sanitation)
- Represent the organization in WASH coordination platforms and policy forums
- Establish and manage partnerships with government, NGOs, UN agencies, donors, and research institutions
- Document and disseminate best practices and lessons learned
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Water Engineering, Environmental Science, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or related field (Master’s degree is an asset)
- Work Experience: Minimum of 4 years in WASH systems strengthening, advocacy, or partnerships
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of national WASH policies, sector coordination mechanisms, and global frameworks
- Languages: Fluency in English and Amharic

Position 2: Head of Finance

Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for financial management across the Ethiopia Country Programme
- Advise senior management on financial planning, risk management, and sustainability
- Ensure donor compliance and sound financial governance
- Oversee project budget planning, revisions, and reporting
- Lead implementation of modern financial systems and digital tools
- Strengthen financial capacity of national NGO partners
- Supervise audits, accounting, and financial administration of the Country Office
- Lead and develop the finance team through training and capacity building
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or ACCA/CPA certification is an asset)
- Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years in financial management, including 2–3 years in a managerial role, preferably with international NGOs
- Technical Skills: Experience in donor‑funded project financial management, audits, and digital financial systems
- Languages: Excellent spoken and written English and Amharic
